There are many researches carried out by the members of the department and these researches have contributed immensely to the development of humanities.
Achievements/Milestones/Plans
One of the achievements of the Department was the successful hosting of the National Conference of the Nigeria Association of Teachers of Arabic Language and Literature (NATAL) in the year 2012/ 2013. Many lecturers of the department are appointed to hold administrative and political posts inside the University and in the State; such positions are the appointment of Professor Moshood M. Jimba as the Chairman, Kwara State Arabic Education Board and Dean, Students’ Affairs, appointment of Prof. Hamzat I. Abdurraheem Dean, School of Postgraduate Studies and others.
